Guide to Borovets

Borovets is a modern ski resort with a good choice of pistes and lifts. Borovets is an Alpine resort and provides very good conditions for snowsports during the winter: from skiing to  snowboarding, cross-country skiing to ski jumps and biathlontoto ice-skating Borovets caters for them all.

• Borovets has twice hosted World Cup competitions in Alpine skiing.
• Its biathlon track is one of Europes best.
• The slopes have a snow cover ing from mid December till April. 
• The average temperature during the coldest month (Jan) is approx 4 °C. 

There are also 8 snow cannons that are used to produce artificial snow if needed, this guarentees snow throughout the season so you wont be disapointed.

Borovets also has a number of bars, restaurants, discos, shops all at reasonable prices.

Some people think that Borovets is a winter holiday resort but this simply is not true as there is also plenty to do in the summer and the resort remains open year round.
